Για όσους έχουν δει το "down by law", μιλάμε για τον τρίτο κύριο (όχι τον tom waits, ουτε τον benini, την άλλη φάτσα). O μουσικός John Lurie λοιπόν είχε τους Lounge Lizards, ένα jazzοείδες μπαντάκι, το οποίο βέβαια δεν θα μας απασχολήσει σε αυτό το post. Πέρα από αυτό το σχήμα έβγαλε και έναν προσωπικό δίσκο το 1999 υπό το φανταστικό όνομα Μarvin Pontiac. Ο δίσκος κινείται σε πιο blues αλλά και jazz πεδία και αξίζει πραγματικά να τον ακούσετε ολόκληρο. Για την ιστορία να πω ότι στη δεκαετία του 80' έπαιξε σε 3 ταινίες του Jim Jarmousch και τα τελευταία 6 χρόνια ασχολείται μόνο με τη ζωγραφική. Τέλος, το 1991 γύρισε 6 επεισόδια μιας εκπομπής-σειράς στη τηλεόραση που λεγόταν "Fishing with John", όπου απλά τον έδειχνε να ψαρεύει με διάφορους γνωστούς (tom waits, jim jarmusch..) {klik an endiafereste gi auto}

Aπό το ανανεωμένο, με τη βοήθεια του libo, δωμάτιό μου, Δευτέρα μεσημέρι σήμερα σε μια old time classic φθινοπωρινή μέρα και υπό τους ήχους του "Glosoli" ξεκινάω αυτό το post που έχω τσεκάρει καιρό τώρα, αλλά δεν καθόμουν να ασχοληθώ: 

Freeconomy

Just for the love of it.
     "The Freeconomy Community's aim is to help reconnect people in their local communities through the simple act of sharing. Not only is sharing our resources better for the environment, it saves you money and builds friendships with those people who live closest to you. It is what we call a WIN-WIN-WIN situation."
     Με πολύ λίγα λόγια αυτή είναι η όλη φιλοσοφία πίσω από αυτή τη μορφή οικονομίας. Είναι μια μορφή οικονομίας, στην οποία καλούν να οργανωθούν οι άνθρωποι ανά τις γειτονιές τους. Και να στηρίζεται που?  στην πολύ απλή βάση του προσφέρεις χωρίς (άμεσο) αντάλλαγμα , γιατί.... έτσι (Just for the love of it, όπως γράφει το site). Χρήματα, δωρεές, ανταλλαγές δεν επιτρέπονται. Ισχύει το ότι προσφέρεις σε όποιον χρειάζεται και αντίστοιχα όταν χρειαστείς κι εσύ κάποιος θα βρεθεί αν σου προσφέρει. Διαφέρει σε σχέση με άλλες -ανταλλακτικές- εναλλακτικές οικονομίες, καθώς εδώ μπορεί να τύχει να προσφέρεις σε κάποιον που δεν σου πρόσφερε (ή δεν θα τύχει ποτέ να σου προσφέρει) κάτι σε αντάλλαγμα. Και αντίστοιχα λειτουργεί και ως προς εσένα. Με το τρόπο αυτό: "Not only do you then still have access to a huge resource, you also build the trust and friendships in communities that inevitably form when someone does something 'just for the love of it'". 


Τι κινείται σε αυτή την οικονομία όμως και με ποιο τρόπο? 
     Κάθε χρήστης έχει ένα profile στο site αυτό και στο οποίο αναφέρει που μένει (που βρίσκεται ο τόπος δράσης του τελοσπάντων) και τις δεξιότητες, τα εργαλεία και τους ελεύθερους χώρους που θέλει να προσφέρει. Ο κάθε χρήστης λοιπόν όταν βρεθεί στην ανάγκη κάποιου πράγματος, απλά πατάει στο search το πράγμα αυτό και αμέσως εμφανίζονται οι freeconomists που το προσφέρουν εντός ακτίνας 14 χιλιομέτρων. Η συνέχεια είναι η απλή συνεννόηση.
     Το πόσο ασφαλές είναι κάτι που κανείς δεν μπορεί να ξέρει. Κοιτάς το profile κάθε φορά, αλλά στη πραγματικότητα είναι σαν το couchsurfing. Απλά δεν ξέρεις. 
    Αν σου σπάσουν τα εργαλεία πάλι, δεν υπάρχει καμιά ιδιαίτερη συμφωνία. Θα συμβεί ό,τι θα συνέβαινε σε κάθε αντίστοιχη περίπτωση.

Διάβασα επίσης κάπου αλλού ότι: O Mark Boyle είναι ο ιδρυτής της κοινότητας Freeconomy και διατείνεται ότι έχει ζήσει χωρίς χρήματα τους τελευταίους 18 μήνες. Το βιβλίο του «The Moneyless Man» δημοσιεύτηκε πρόσφατα από την Oneworld. Ο Mark Boyle κατάφερε να ζήσει τόσο καιρό χωρίς χρήματα μέσω της Freeconomy. Η κοινότητα έχει 21.037 μέλη σε 143 χώρες. Τα μέλη της μοιράζονται 336.393 δεξιότητες, 65.980 εργαλεία και 337 χώρους.




P.S. 1: It's about helping others and providing an opportunity for others to help you.-It's about sharing the skills you have learnt through your life and learning those you haven't for a time when you may need them.-It's about sharing your tools so you can have access to all the tools under the sun without it costing the earth.-It's about using any free space you have to either benefit positive, ethical and local projects, or to enable volunteers to keep doing their amazing work for free.-It's about getting to know people in your own community.-It's about learning to help each other again.-It's about getting ready for a post peak oil world.-It's about making dinner for a friend who was yesterday a stranger.-It's about putting the soul back into society.-It's about helping each other not for profit, but just for the love-ofit.
