-where r u from and how did u started snowboarding?(i know its a lame question:P)

i was born in homer, alaska. i would spend summers in alaska in this small fishing village called ninilchick and winters on the big island of Hawaii. when i was 9 years old my family moved to anchorage(alaskas biggest city) year round and i had already been skateboarding for a couple years at that point and when the snow came in the city and i couldnt skate i tried snowboarding.

- how did you become a pro and how does this really feel? :p

im not sure if im pro. in skateboarding you need a pro model to be pro and in snowboarding it seems like the lines are a bit more blurred. but i dont consider myself pro. but regardless it feels realy great to get payed a bit of money to do what you love, and since it pays year round it gives me the freedom to travel and skate and hole up in my room and practice my guitar without having to get a job.

-youre one of te most creative riders out there.how do you come up with such different tricks?(like bigspin outs)

skateboarding is a big influence for me. other than that it just comes down to make a conscience effort to look at spots differently and keep the right side of your brain sharp. i tried to read alot, and eat fish because it has alot of omega 3s and other random shit like that. ha. theres a long history of autism in my family to and sometimes i feel like i might have caught a bit of that.

-tell us about your bike tour with scott holland?:P

well we went from portland to san francisco, about 900 miles. it took us 16 days. we had 75 joints rolled before we left and we ran out in a week. one of the greatest things you can do if you ever have a couple weeks to spare. we brought skateboards and we hit all the skateparks on the way down the coast to.

-describe a typical day on your life.

wintertime and summer differ greatly!winter- wake up early play my guitar for about an hour go snowboard all day come home play some more guitar, read a book go to bed.summer- wake up, roll a joint, play my guitar untill 5 or 6 go skate for 2 or 3 hours go to the bars.

-whats on with guitar ad harmonica? 5 top musicians-bands for you.

so hard to do top 5 but here it goes:pink floyd, stevie ray vaughn, jimi hendrix, B.B king, bob dylan, woody guthrie, beatles, arcarde fire, tupac, biggie, nas, edward sharpe and the magnetic zeros, led zeppelin, elton john, albert king, freddie king, to many to name i guess.

-whats going on with the gusbus?

the gusbus is like a brother to me. been through alot in that bus. its actually my second van. my first van i sold in seattle and i was without a place to live after i sold it and my brothers girlfriend didnt want me staying at there house because i was too dirty i guess. so my brother let me borrow his jetta because he and a motorcycle he could get to work with so i was sleep in that jetta at the skatepark in ballard for a week, and i would just go into the library everyday and look on craigslist for vans and i found the gus bus bought that thing the next day and lived in it for a couple years down in the states. i was mostly always on the west coast. like portland, seattle, san francisco, and reno. last summer i drove it up to alaska from denver.

-what do you have to say to the greeks?

Remi Gaillard - "It's by doing anything that one becomes anybody"

Ο Remi Gaillard είναι ένας από του πιο διάσημους φαρσέρ αυτή τη στιγμή στο κόσμο του Internet. Για τη ζωή του τύπου αυτού δεν μπορεί να πει κανείς και πολλά. Γεννήθηκε στις "7 Φεβρουαρίου του 1974 στο Montepellier της Γαλλίας" (τελικά στο wikipedia μπορείς να βρεις όντως τα πάντα έτσι;) και ,όπως έχει δηλώσει ο ίδιος σε συνέντευξή του, ξεκίνησε τις φάρσες μετά την απόλυση του από κατάστημα παπούτσιων όπου εργαζόταν. Κόντρα στη μιζέρια της εποχής λοιπόν αποφάσισε να κάνει φάρσες για να περνάει καλά τον τόοοοοοσο ελεύθερο χρόνο που πια είχε. Βρώμες τον θέλουν να χει περάσει και νύχτεσ στις φυλακή γι΄αυτά που κάνει, αλλά και να έχει πάρει κάποια χορηγία από την nike για κόλπα που κάνει με μπάλες ποδοσφαίρου.

Η μεγαλύτερη επιτυχία του ήταν όταν το 2002 κατάφερε να εισβάλλει στα αποδυτήρια της Λοριάν (ομάδα της Γ' κατηγόρίας) κατά την διάρκεια των πανηγυρισμών για την κατάκτηση του κυπέλλου Γαλλίας. Πανηγύρισε με τους παίκτες, πήρε μετάλιο, χαιρέτησε τον πρόεδρο Σιράκ, σήκωσε το κύπελλο. Μια χαρά δηλαδή..

Για τις φάρσες τώρα: Έχει βρει κάποιες φόρμες, θα τις έλεγα εγώ, κάποια στάνταρ θέματα τελοσπάντων, πάνω στα οποία παίζει συνεχώς. Τέτοιες φόρμες είναι τα κουστούμια, το ασανσέρ, φαρσες που γίνονται με την συνδρομή πολλών φίλων του, εισβολές σε γήπεδα-show-ή ό,τιδήποτε θα ήταν αστείο. Ντάξει, για να μην το παίζουμε και ψαγμένοι, ουσιαστικά όλες του οι φάρσες έχουν να κάνουν με ρόλους που υποδύεται και βρίσκονται εκτός κανονικότητας.
